After graduation, Vasu (Venkatesh) runs a college canteen, music school and teaches music for seven years to make his living. His father (Vijay Kumar) is an IPS officer and he wants Vasu to appear for Civil Services examinations to take up IPS career. But Vasu has different plans for his future. He dreams of becoming a musician and a singer. One fine day a young IPS officer comes to Vasu's places to seek the blessings of Vasu's father. He admits that Vasu's father is the source of inspiration for him to become an IPS officer. Vasu's father dejected that his son does not heed his advice of giving civils exams, feels bad about his son. Meanwhile, Vasu spots a beautiful girl Divya (Bhoomika Chawla) on the street. He plays every possible trick to woo her. But all his plans backfire on him and make himself a fool in the eyes of Divya. Vasu father spots Vasu bashing the guys up in the streets and asks him to leave the house and stay outside. Vasu leaves the house. Divya comes down to Vasu's place along with her luggage when Vasu was about to leave the house. Later on, Vasu comes to know that Divya is the daughter of Vasu's father's childhood friend. "Kochukunju (Prithviraj) is the spoiled son of the Vadakkan Veettil family in Taliparamba, Kannur. He is the son of Kathreena (Ambika), who believes that his father David (Saikumar) has died (his life was actually spared by the killer sent by his brothers to kill him). Kochukunju is hated by everyone in his family because they want to divide the Vadakkan Veetil property and engage in some business and he is a barrier for them.It is revealed that Kochukunju knows the whereabouts of both his dad and Neelan, the killer who spared his dad. His dad promises him to return one day.All of his cousins hate him, except the one who comes to know about his honesty. The brother engages in a brawl in a hotel killing his opponent. He realizes that it is Kochukunju's hotel and he is not what he seems to be. Kochukunju is about to take the blame for his brother as he did in childhood but is stopped by his friend the Manager (Sudheesh), who takes the blame instead. Kochukunju fights for the manager in court. Bhai is a do-gooder for the people of Dubai, while his three sons are the rogues. Kochukunju once saves him in an accident and becomes his right hand. Bhai trusts him more than his sons, and he puts his wealth in Kochukunju's name, helped by his lawyer. The sons kill the father and put the blame on Kochukunju, who is spared after proving his innocence. The sons get jailed. Kochukunju is waiting for the day they come out and he can hand them their property. But they come out and kill the lawyer, and both Nandu and Kochukunju decide to kill them. He kills them and returns to Kerala.His brothers try to kill him by sending out a rogue, who is defeated, and the truth is brought out. They did it for the property. He tells them to take whatever they want, and that he does not need a penny, except for his mother and Helen.The day arrives when the property is divided, and a stranger buys their whole property. The person is a benaami and a real owner is a big person, who then comes out, i.e., David and his wife are shocked. He introduces himself, and everyone is shocked. He tells them he did not come for their money or wealth, although the only one with the right to it is Kochukunju. He reveals that Kochukunju is the real owner who bought all the property and is not the loser that they think he is. He had acted in front of them for this long but became a successful businessman.He also says that Kathreena's brothers sent out a man to kill him. She and her brothers ask for forgiveness.He comes to their room where his photo is displayed with a lit candle. Small time criminal, Mahi (Mammootty) gets released from prison early. He has a reputation of beating up his rivals in the darkness. Mahi wants to help fellow inmate Balan's (Manoj K. Jayan) whose brother Satheesh (Manikuttan) is in need of money for a life saving operation. A fellow crook, Giri (Suraj Venjaramood) proposes an assignment for Mahi which will earn him enough money for the operation. Thottappally Surendran (Vijayaraghavan) plans to murder Sivasankaran Pillai (Saikumar) to settle an old score. Sivasankaran is serving life sentence for killing Surendran's father and is due to be released on short term parole. As part of a master plot, Surendran wants another man to accept the criminal charge and punishment.Mahi takes up the assignment and sets off to the island village along with Giri. During the boat service to the village, they meet Indu (Gopika), the caretaker of Sivasankaran. During the trip, Indu gets harassed by Thottappally Sugunan (Santhosh Jogi), Surendran's brother. Mahi saves Indu with a single kick at Sugunan from the back which causes the boat to sink. Mahi saves the unconscious Indu from drowning Indu and flees the scene immediately. On meeting Surendran, Mahi agrees to the task for Rs 8,00,000. Mahi and Giri are instructed to hang around the fishing village till Sivasankaran arrives on parole. Kannan Srank, a henchman of Surendran acts as their local contact.On Surendran's instruction, Kannan Srank plots to defame Indu by accusing her of having an affair with Mahi. Indu loses her job at the harbour. Aaranaimuttom Devaki (K. P. A. C. Lalitha) saves Indu from further embarrassment. Mahi and Indu get to know each other. Mahi realizes that Indu's younger sister Ammu(Nimisha Suresh) is Sathessh's girlfriend. Sugunan tries to frame Ammu in a fraud charge. Mahi beats Sugunan up with an under water attack. He does the same with Surendran spraying chilli powder. Both of them do not get a clue who was the attacker.The villagers speculate about a "Mayavi" (magician) behind the attack. Kannan Srank's bogus claims of knowing Mayavi add further fuel for the speculations. Mahi in pretense of Mayavi uses Kannan Srank to prove the innocence of both Ammu and Indu and exposes Thottappally brothers. Indu joins back the job at the harbour. Mahi through Kannan Srank also offers protection for Sivasankaran in exchange for medical expenses for Satheesh. Kannan Srank go further on behalf by plotting a story in which Mayavi is in love with Indu.Sivasankaran arrives at the village knowing all about the plot to kill him. He commands Mahi and Giri to leave immediately. In the hospital meeting Satheesh, Sivasankaran mistakes Balan as Mayavi. Balan turns out to be a crook and he decides to play along even with out knowing the entire story. Indu refuses to believe that Balan is Mayavi. Yatheendran (Keerikkadan Jose), another convict identifies Mahi as Mayavi and Thottappally brothers entrusts Yatheendran to kill Mahi. Mahi beats up Yatheendran and Thottappally brothers and spoils the plot to kill Sivasankaran. Sivasankaran, however still believes Balan is Mayavi and decides to fix Indu's wedding with Balan and make Balan a partner in his businesses. more»

Raja (Chiranjeevi) goes to town for higher studies with the donation of people living in a tribal village. He returns to his village after the studies. He then finds the sufferings of his people and how they are cheated by local heads (Rao Gopal Rao and Mohanbabu). He then fills confidence in his men and tells them that they should face these illegal in the court of law. But this duo makes the villagers fools and Raja's attempts goes in vain. Few villagers get hurt by this act suicide as they have no other option and the blame is on Raja as he has forced them. Sametime Raja is selected for IAS but he rejects it and decides to fight against the villains and changes to a Robinhood avatar and names himself as Kondaveti Donga. He punishes the illegal and stands by the villagers thus all his folk starts admiring him. Trouble starts when the villains start doing mischief in the name of him.
