Rakhtbeej is the story of two men, from two different generations. Even though their worlds are different their lives keep intersecting. Abhay Jatav, from humble beginnings, ends up becoming the most dreaded dacoit in UP. Ajay, also from humble beginings, becomes the CEO of Dabral Group of Industries at a very young age. Abhay knows Sarita from a long time, and Sarita is in love with Abhay. But when a simple village girl Poonam enters Ahbay's life he totally forgets about Sarita. On the other hand, Sanjana, Dabral's daughter is in love with Ajay for the longest time. But when supermodel Priya enters his life, he is blinded by her love. Abhay goes out of his way to help Maya Singh win the village elections. But Maya Singh later backstabs Abhay. Abhay loose his friends and those dear to him and this changes his fate forever. Meanwhile, Ajay trusts Dharam, his competitor in business and love, but Dharam backstabs him too. Abhay becomes a victim of politics, police and dacoits, while Ajay is the victim of business rivalry. Kunjoonjamma Thomas (Padmini) is a widow living in the village all by herself. People always make fun of her because she is grumpy and depressed due to the deaths of her husband and her only child. Children irritate her by ringing her door bell and running away. One day, her granddaughter Girly (Nadhiya Moidu), who she had never met, visits her. Initially, Kunjoonjamma does not like Girly, but they soon become close to each other. Kunjoonjamma takes down the door bell, saying to Girly that its only purpose was for Girly's return. Now that Girly is with her, she does not need it. Kunjoonjamma's neighbor, Sreekumar (Mohanlal), falls in love with Girly. One day, Sreekumar's friend, Alexi (Fazil), comes to his house and sees Girly. He identifies her as a girl missing from Delhi, and immediately informs her father (K. P. Ummer) about her whereabouts. Girly had run away from Delhi because she had a brain disease and does not have much time to live. She wanted to enjoy the rest of her life. When her father comes to take her back to Delhi for an urgent operation, she refuses to go, claiming that even the doctors are not sure whether the operation will be successful. Her grandmother mixes sleeping pills in soup and gives it to Girly, and her father takes her to Delhi while she is unconscious. The movie ends with the ambulance slowly fading away into the darkness. Ex-underworld don Zakkir Ali Hussein (Mohanlal), after giving up violence, is settled peacefully in the suburbs of Kochi. It was under the strong influence of his foster father, Bappu Haji Mustafa (Anupam Kher), that he left Mumbai. An unsuccessful assassination attempt on Haji Mustafa in Mumbai by Raman Naik, an underworld don ignites old wounds in Zakir. He, despite repeated pleas from Haji Mustafa and Ilanthaloor Rama Varma (Babu Namboothiri), a father like figure, sets out to Mumbai along with his trusted lieutenant Hamid Plavilakandi Mather, alias Malayalees (Cochin Haneefa). With the help of his friend Arjun (Biju Menon), Zakeer kills down Raman Naik and reaches back in Kochi. On his way back, at Kochi, he meets up with Maya Mary Kurien (Aishwarya), Asst. Commissioner of Police, who slowly starts developing a crush on him. Zakir Hussein is visited by Balaraman (Shammi Thilakan), a liquor baron and ex-MP, who warns Zakkir of dire consequences if he continues to interfere in the Mumbai crime world. He also attempts to woo Zakir, but the latter refuses to bow down, sending strong warning to Balaraman and his group. Balaraman, along with Devadevan Nambiar, alias DD (Vijayaraghavan), and Arun Naik, the brother of Raman Naik in Mumbai, is planning to finish off Zakir Hussein and Haji Mustafa to regain the lost turf in Mumbai. They are supported by Lahayil Vakkachan (N. F. Varghese), the tainted state home minister. Joseph Madachery, the IG of police conducts a raid at Haji Mustafa's poor home on behalf of Vakachan, and beats up Rama Varma Thirumulpad brutally, but the sudden arrival of Zakir saves him. Joseph is severely beaten by Zakir in full public presence, which infuriates Balaraman and DD, who try to demoralize Zakir by publishing fabricated stories about his relationship with ACP Maya Kurein and inmates of Haji Mustafa's poor home. Lahayil Vakachan tries to create a truce between Zakir and Balaraman, but fails miserably. This leads to a series of problems, including the arrest of Jaganathan, a close buddy of Zakir, on false narcotic drug charges. Jaganathan is killed in police custody. Balaraman and DD kill Rama Varma Thirumulpad, which prompts Zakir to take the law in his own hands. At a public gathering while addressing thousands of party workers, Zakir Hussein enters by duping police and kills Balaraman, DD and Lahayil Vakkachan. more»

The story focuses on 5 friends Prabhu, Elango, Sundar, Indra and Priya at the Madras Institute of Technology, who want to remain friends throughout their lifespan and hope to join the same company after graduation. During a vacation, Elango goes home where he is forced to get married to his rustic cousin, Eshwari by his tough disciplinarian father. Once back to college he hides the fact about his marriage to his friends but later the marriage becomes public when relatives of Eshwari come to visit Elango. While their dream to work together becomes true, Elango alone gets a transfer to Bombay. The friends fight but later reunites back. Before Elango goes Bombay the friends force him to visit his wife and put him on a train. But Elango manages to get off the train and from there loses touch with his friends and family in the village. The friends part and 6 years later Prabu and Sundar come back to join Priya and Indra in Chennai. On the train journey back, Prabu meets Elango's wife Eashwari. Prabu falls in love with Eashwari without realizing who she is. Eventually he along with his friends finds out the truth about Eashwari, who is waiting with hopes of her husband to return. The four friends decided to help Eshwari find the whereabouts of Elango. One day Prabu finds out that Elango might be in Switzerland. Prabu decides to go to Switzerland. One fine day he finds Elango but to his shocks, Elango has a kid and is married to a Swiss woman. Meanwhile, in India Elango's dad committed suicide. Prabu goes back to India and there he comes to know that everyone knows about Elango's marriage. Eshwari decides to get married again and move on with life rather than thinking about Elango. Her village people decide to marry her off to one of her relatives but she threatens them telling them off that she would decide her own life and no one is going control her life anymore. The story ends with all the 4 friends and their husbands and wife along with Eshwari enjoining day off at the beach. more»

Rajdhani Express is the story of Keshav, an errand boy for an arms trafficker. On one such errand, Keshav steals the weapons and books a ticket on the Rajdhani Express from Delhi to Mumbai in order to escape. However, his fate follows him through his escape onto the train in the form of Yadav, the DY Commissioner of ATS. While trying to apprehend Keshav, Yadav manages to extract political mileage from the situation by weaving a web, endangering not only Keshav's, but also his co-passengers' lives. However, the Commissioner has an ulterior motive to get even with his boss, the Minister of Home, whose parents also happen to be on the train. Distanced, ridiculed and humiliated, he reacts by pointing his gun at them. All hell breaks loose. Can Keshav escape this trap? If so, how? more»
